FAQ
What is the difference between Limited Editions and Open Editions?
Limited Editions are produced in a fixed and numbered quantity. Once the edition is sold out, it will not be reproduced in that edition again.
Each limited edition print is signed and numbered by hand and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
Open Editions are not limited in quantity. They are produced to order and are not individually numbered or hand-signed.
Are the artworks originally made by hand?
Yes. My work begins with my own original artwork — drawn, painted or otherwise created by hand.
Some works are later digitised or adapted for print while preserving the character of the original.
For specific materials and techniques, see the individual product description.
What are your Limited Edition prints printed on?
Limited edition fine art prints are printed on Hahnemühle Photo Rag 310 gsm, an archival-quality fine art paper with a soft, matte surface.
Each print is individually inspected, signed and numbered by hand before shipping.
Are Limited Edition prints signed?
Yes.
Limited edition prints are signed and numbered by hand and include the title of the work and edition number, for example 1/30.
They also come with a Certificate of Authenticity.
What is an Open Edition?
An open edition is an art print that is not restricted to a predetermined number of copies.
Unlike my Limited Editions, Open Edition posters are not individually numbered and do not include a Certificate of Authenticity.
How are Open Edition posters produced?
Open Edition posters are produced to order through selected professional print partners.
This means the poster is printed after you place your order rather than being kept in stock.
The current 30 × 40 cm Open Edition posters are printed on 200 gsm smooth matte, FSC-certified paper.
Are frames included?
No. Unless specifically stated otherwise on the product page, artworks and prints are sold unframed.
This also makes shipping safer and lets you choose a frame that works with your own space.
Where is my order shipped from?
It depends on what you order.
Limited edition prints and original artworks are prepared, packed and shipped by hand from Sweden.
Open edition posters and selected other products are produced and fulfilled through professional print partners and may therefore be shipped from a different production location.
Will everything in my order arrive together?
Not necessarily.
If your order contains products that are fulfilled in different ways — for example a Limited Edition print together with an Open Edition poster — they may be produced and shipped separately.
You may therefore receive more than one parcel and separate tracking information.
How long does it take before my order is shipped?
Limited edition fine art prints are normally prepared and shipped within 2–3 weeks.
Print-on-demand products are sent into production after your order has been placed. Production and estimated delivery times may vary depending on the product and destination.
Estimated shipping information is shown at checkout where available.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, to selected international destinations.
Available countries and shipping options are shown at checkout.
How much is shipping?
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the products in your order and your delivery destination.
If your order contains items that are fulfilled separately, shipping may also be calculated separately for those items.
Will I receive tracking?
When tracking is available, you will receive an email with tracking information once your order has been shipped.
Orders containing items from different fulfilment locations may receive more than one tracking number.
Will I have to pay customs or import fees?
Orders delivered outside the EU may be subject to local customs duties, taxes or import fees.
These charges are determined by the destination country and are normally paid by the recipient.
Can I change my delivery address after ordering?
Please check your shipping information carefully before placing your order.
If you notice an error, contact hello@ceciliafri.com as soon as possible. If the order has not yet entered production or been shipped, I will do my best to help.
Once an order has been processed or dispatched, changing the address may no longer be possible.
Can I return an order?
For eligible online purchases within the EU, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal beginning when you receive your order.
To request a return, contact hello@ceciliafri.com with your order number before sending anything back.
Items must be returned carefully and in a condition consistent with reasonable inspection. Return shipping costs are paid by the customer unless the product is faulty, damaged or incorrect.
Please see the Refund Policy for full terms and instructions.
My order arrived damaged. What should I do?
Please contact me as soon as possible at hello@ceciliafri.com and include:
- your order number
- a short description of the problem
- clear photographs of the item and, where relevant, the packaging
For damaged, defective or incorrect products, I will assess the issue and arrange an appropriate solution, such as a replacement or refund.
Quality-related issues should preferably be reported within 30 days of delivery.
My order seems to be lost or delayed. What should I do?
Shipping delays occasionally happen, particularly during busy periods or with international deliveries.
If your order has stopped moving or appears to be lost, contact me at hello@ceciliafri.com with your order number and I will help investigate it.
Do the colours look exactly the same in person?
I make every effort to represent the artwork as accurately as possible.
However, colours can vary slightly between screens due to differences in display settings, brightness and device calibration. Printed colours may therefore differ slightly from what you see on your screen.
Can I use or reproduce the artwork after purchasing it?
Purchasing an artwork or print gives you ownership of the physical item — not the copyright to the artwork.
The artwork may not be reproduced, copied, commercially used, distributed or otherwise exploited without permission.
Copyright remains with Cecilia Fri unless explicitly agreed otherwise.
